
Hand Embroidery
A 6-Week Hand Embroidery Course
Students will learn the art of hand embroidery through simple, beginner-friendly techniques. Each week introduces new stitches, creative projects, and hands-on practice that builds confidence, patience, and fine motor skills. By the end of the course, students will take home several finished pieces they designed and stitched themselves.
What Students Will Learn Embroidery

How to set up an embroidery hoop and prepare fabric

How to thread a needle and use embroidery tools safely

Basic stitches: running stitch, backstitch, satin stitch, seed stitch

Decorative stitches: French knot, stem stitch, chain stitch

How to transfer simple designs onto fabric

How to finish and display their embroidery
Weekly Journey Embroidery

Week 1: Hoop setup, threading, and stitching a simple outline

Week 2: Design transfer & backstitch practice

Week 3: Fill stitches and small pattern work

Week 4: Decorative stitches (flowers, knots, curves)

Week 5: Create a small item (pendant, bookmark, or earrings)

Week 6: Complete final hoop design & project showcase
Tuition Policy
Tuition reflects full-session enrollment and covers materials, instructor planning, and scheduling. The Homeschool Hangar does not offer proration or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals.
