Kids travel the globe through taste and technique — learning the science behind spices, fermentation, starches, and cooking methods unique to each culture. Every week explores one region, a hands-on cooking project, and one fun experiment or sensory activity.

This version of The Flavor Lab will take your student on a hands-on culinary journey exploring global baking traditions, food science, and cultural storytelling through dessert and bread making. By the end of this 6‑week global baking course, students will confidently apply core baking science, understand diverse cultural traditions, and work skillfully with doughs, batters, and foam‑based structures. They’ll also master temperature, texture, and moisture control while building real hands‑on baking confidence and kitchen safety skills, creating a strong foundation for future culinary exploration.

This outdoor farm‑to‑table class blends hands‑on gardening, rustic cooking, and practical garden education as students plant, tend, and taste fresh ingredients each week. Kids cook with the same vegetables and herbs they grow, taking home both planted projects and prepared foods for a truly rustic, outdoorsy, and cooking‑focused experience.

Tuition reflects full-session enrollment and covers materials, instructor planning, and scheduling. The Homeschool Hangar does not offer proration or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals.
