From Imagination to Creation is a six-week creative art program

designed to help young artists build confidence, develop foundational

art skills, and explore their creativity through a variety of mediums and

techniques. Students will learn how to turn ideas into artwork while

discovering new ways to express themselves, collaborate with others,

and enjoy the creative process.

Creative Journeys is a six-week art class designed especially for children with special needs and their caregivers. In this inclusive, sensory-friendly environment, children and their parents explore the joy of creating together while learning foundational art skills at a relaxed, supportive pace.

Each class features hands-on sensory art projects, themed read-aloud stories, creative exploration, and engaging activities that encourage self-expression, confidence, and connection. With a slower-paced format and small class setting, every child receives personalized attention and the time they need to create comfortably.

Led by Ms. Classic, who has experience working with children with special needs, Creative Journeys is built on patience, compassion, and understanding. Her thoughtful approach creates a peaceful space where every child feels welcomed, supported, and celebrated for their unique creativity.

Whether your child is discovering art for the first time or already loves to create, Creative Journeys offers a meaningful experience where families can make memories, build skills, and enjoy the creative process together.

Weekly Journey

Week 1: Meet Your Imagination – Build creative confidence through self-expression, imagination, and a self-portrait project.

Week 2: Elements of Art – Explore line, shape, form, and shading techniques through still-life drawing.

Week 3: Color Theory & Value – Discover how colors mix, interact, and influence mood through a vibrant art project.

Week 4: Space, Perspective, Proportion & Scale – Learn to create depth and realistic relationships between objects.

Week 5: Art Styles & Inspiration – Explore famous art movements and artists while creating an original style-inspired piece.

Week 6: From Imagination to Creation – Celebrate artistic growth by reflecting, sharing artwork, and showcasing creative achievements

Tuition Policy

Tuition reflects full-session enrollment and covers materials, instructor planning, and scheduling. The Homeschool Hangar does not offer proration or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals.

The Homeschool Hangar is a Step Up Direct Pay Provider. Families can reserve their scholarship funds for all classes through their EMA account.
