6-Week Creative Fashion Design Class

At The Homeschool Hangar, students don't just learn...they create. Your student will experience the pride, confidence, and joy that comes from building something with their own two hands. We are beyond excited to partner with MarniStar Creative Studio in bringing design and textile studios to your students!

Students will explore the exciting world of fashion design while developing artistic creativity, design thinking, and problem-solving skills. Throughout this hands-on six-week course, students will discover how professional designers transform ideas into wearable fashion by studying trends, color, fabrics, silhouettes, and illustration techniques.

Students will learn to observe the world around them for inspiration, analyze current fashion trends, create original concepts, and communicate their ideas through professional-style fashion sketches and mood boards. The course emphasizes creativity, personal expression, and the design process while introducing students to fundamental principles used throughout the fashion industry.

Naples Session:

💲 Tuition: $325 per student (6-week session, includes all materials)

Week 6 – Final Designer Project

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Identify current fashion trends and design influences.
Explain how professional designers gather inspiration.
Apply basic color theory to fashion design.
Recognize a variety of fabrics and their appropriate uses.
Understand garment silhouettes and style lines.
Create original fashion illustrations using basic sketching techniques.
Develop and present a cohesive fashion design concept through a mood board and final project.

Tuition reflects full-session enrollment and covers materials, instructor planning, and scheduling. The Homeschool Hangar does not offer proration or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals.

The Homeschool Hangar is a Step Up Direct Pay Provider. Families can reserve their scholarship funds for all classes through their EMA account.
