A 6-Week Hands-On Medical Skills Course
Medical Skills Academy introduces students to the fundamentals of emergency response, patient care, and basic clinical skills through hands-on training and realistic scenarios. Designed for students interested in healthcare, first response, or learning practical life skills, this immersive course allows learners to practice techniques used in real emergency situations.
Over six weeks, students will learn how to assess injuries, take vital signs, respond to common medical emergencies, and provide basic care until professional help arrives. Each class blends practical instruction with interactive simulations that build confidence, teamwork, and critical thinking.
Students will also assemble their own personal medical response kit throughout the course, learning how and when each tool is used in real-world situations. By the end of the program, participants will be able to recognize common medical emergencies, perform patient assessments, and respond calmly and effectively in a variety of scenarios.
