Guided Learning Approach

Teen Business Builders is a hands-on educational course designed to teach students how to think through, build, and market a business for themselves. This is not a “done-for-you” business setup service. Students will be encouraged to explore their own ideas, interests, creativity, and personal style while learning proven business and marketing principles along the way.

Casey will guide students through best practices, strategy, branding, content creation, and business fundamentals, but each student’s business, aesthetic, and execution will reflect their own personality and goals. The focus is on teaching students how to brainstorm, build, problem solve and make informed business decisions with confidence.

Requirements
  • Students will need a computer, tablet, or phone to create content and manage their business.

  • Parents must sign a disclaimer acknowledging that students will be creating and using social media accounts to market their business. Online safety will be covered in class, but parents are responsible for monitoring their child’s account outside of class.

  • Parents must sign their child up and pay vendor registration fee if they choose to participate in the optional vendor day event.

Vendor Day Experience (Optional Add-On | $100 Additional Fee)

This optional add-on includes a seventh class session focused on preparing for a live market event, followed by on-site support and coaching from Casey during Vendor Day.

During the additional class, students will finalize their booth setup, pricing strategy, displays, signage, inventory planning, customer interactions, and sales approach. On Vendor Day, Casey will be present to provide guidance, encouragement, and real-time coaching as students put their skills into practice with actual customers.

This experience gives students the opportunity to move beyond planning and preparation by testing their business in a real marketplace environment and gaining valuable hands-on entrepreneurial experience.
