Meet Ms. Classic
As an artist, she believes that creativity is one of the most powerful tools for self-expression, healing, and connection. She has always been deeply passionate about the process of making art—not just the final product, but the journey of discovery, experimentation, and storytelling that happens along the way.
Her goal as an art teacher is to create a safe and inclusive space where every learner feels free to be themselves. She wants to encourage young artists to take risks, embrace mistakes, and trust their own creative instincts. She believes that art should never be about perfection; rather, it is about exploration, personal voice, and the joy of creating something uniquely one's own.
Through her 6-week program, which focuses on imagination and the creative process from concept to creation, she aims to guide students through a wide range of artistic experiences. These experiences include painting, drawing, sculpture, abstract expression, pop art, storytelling, and the use of mixed materials to create something new and meaningful.
She is not simply teaching artistic techniques; she is helping young artists learn to see the beauty in everyday life, appreciate small moments, and express gratitude for the experiences that shape them.
Her role is not to tell students what to create, but to inspire, support, and help them discover the creativity that already exists within them. She believes that every color, every choice, and even every perceived "mistake" is part of an artist's story. Her purpose is to help students recognize and confidently share that story through their art.
