ASL 2: Building Fluency & Real Conversation

Offered in partnership with The Homeschool Hangar and led by Ms. Tara Fuller, ASL 2 is designed for students who have completed ASL 1 or have a basic foundation in American Sign Language. This course strengthens vocabulary, improves expressive and receptive skills, and helps students move from single signs into meaningful conversation.

 

Through interactive lessons, partner work, storytelling, and real-world practice, students will gain confidence communicating in ASL and deepen their understanding of Deaf culture and communication norms.

💲 Tuition: $225 per student (6-week session)

What Students Will Learn

• Expanded conversational vocabulary and sentence structure

• Question forms, facial expressions, and non-manual signals

• Directional verbs and classifiers

• Describing people, places, and daily routines

• Storytelling and sequencing events in ASL

• Cultural awareness and respectful communication practices

• Increased confidence in receptive signing and real-time interaction

One parent is welcome to stay and participate alongside their child, making this a shared and enriching experience for both.

Tuition Policy

Tuition reflects full-session enrollment and covers materials, instructor planning, and scheduling. The Homeschool Hangar does not offer proration or refunds for late starts, absences, or withdrawals.
